From Preparation to Perfection

A Step-by-Step Process for Exceptional Powder Coating Results.

When a piece arrives at the facilities, it undergoes an initial evaluation. This process includes a detailed inspection to identify any damage, imperfections, or dirt that could interfere with the coating process. The type of material is verified, and the appropriate pretreatment process is selected to ensure optimal adhesion of the coating.


Every aluminium part we receive undergoes an advanced CCC process that turns its surface into a protective layer, ensuring a clean and perfectly prepared surface for powder coating. This guarantees superior adhesion and long-term corrosion resistance, differentiating our finishes in terms of durability and quality.


After pretreatment, the pieces are thoroughly dried to remove any residual moisture that could affect the quality of the powder coating. This process is usually carried out in a drying oven, ensuring the parts are completely dry before moving on to the next phase.


Once the pieces are dry and prepared, they are moved to the application area. The powder coating is applied using an electrostatic application system, which electrically charges the powder particles, allowing them to adhere uniformly to the surface of the piece. The application is precise, ensuring complete and even coverage.


After the powder is applied, the pieces are transferred to a curing oven. In the oven, the powder melts and cures, forming a hard and durable finish. The curing time and temperature are carefully controlled according to the material specifications and the type of powder coating used.


Once cured, the pieces undergo a quality inspection. This process includes verifying the uniformity of the coating, the absence of defects such as bubbles or lumps, and the proper adhesion of the coating to the surface of the piece. If a piece does not meet quality standards, it is returned for reprocessing.


Finally, the pieces are carefully packaged to prevent damage during transport. Depending on the size and nature of the piece, different packaging methods may be used, such as plastic wrapping, placement in padded boxes, or pallet packaging. Special care is taken during packaging to ensure that the powder-coated finish is not compromised during shipping.


Once packaged, the pieces are ready for delivery to the customer. Logistics are coordinated according to the customer’s requirements, ensuring that the pieces arrive in perfect condition and on time.
